A very special coffee, aged in the green form by exposing the beans to monsoon wind and rain for a period of three to four months. The origins of this coffee date back to the times of the British Raj, when humidity and powerful sea winds combined to ripen the green beans until they turned a much paler, yellow colour. This results in the coffee losing much of it’s acidity and acquiring a unique flavour which is often described as being peppery and creamy. A heavy, full body and a low acidity makes this coffee perfect for all day drinking, especially when brewed in a filter or cafetiere. Winner of a one star Great Taste Award in 2010.
